Multiple users have recently reported that the social platform X (formerly Twitter) experienced an outage or connection anomalies, with issues such as the home feed failing to load and the timeline unable to refresh. The disruption prompted many people to search terms like “Is X down?” and “Twitter down” to confirm whether it was a widespread problem.
According to data from the service interruption tracking site DownDetector, during an outage lasting about one hour, the number of reports exceeded 41,000 in the United States, around 8,000 in the United Kingdom, and roughly 2,400 in India. Coverage also noted that X and its integrated AI chatbot Grok returned to normal availability after the incident. As of the event, neither the platform nor its parent company X Corp., nor Elon Musk’s side, had provided an immediate public statement.
