Recently, the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), owned by Elon Musk, announced a policy adjustment to its creator revenue sharing program. The platform has begun reducing payments to users who publish clickbait headlines and simply repost or reorganize news content, referred to as "aggregators". X product head Nikita Bill posted on the platform, stating that this move aims to warn account holders not to "flood the timeline" with low-quality content.
Bill further clarified that for users who misuse labels like "BREAKING" in every post, the platform will implement permanent revenue deductions. Simultaneously, X is testing new tools to identify the original authors of content and allocate a portion of revenue to them. Additionally, the platform has explicitly stated that if users post unlabeled, AI-generated videos related to war, they will be prohibited from monetizing that content.
