Headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, Ring-a-Ding today officially launched its OpenClaw skill, enabling AI agents to place outbound phone calls. The skill is built for everyday tasks that require voice interaction, such as obtaining quotes, scheduling appointments, and checking availability. The company noted that while AI agents continue to improve in areas like web search, email, and file management, many real-world businesses still rely on phone calls to complete essential workflows.
Ring-a-Ding’s OpenClaw skill focuses on dynamic one-on-one call scenarios—each time an AI agent dials out, it generates the purpose and context of the conversation in real time. Every subscription includes AI-powered phone lines with outbound support, a managed US phone number pool, live voice bridging, call transcription, summary generation, and OpenClaw CLI integration. On the technical side, the skill manages the entire outbound call process by handling phone numbers, SIP connections, real-time voice routing, and call transcription.
