Claude Account Registration Process

Open the Claude website (claude.ai) and click the "Sign up" button in the top-right corner. After entering your email, the system will send a verification email. Click the link to activate your account. If you need to switch between work and personal accounts frequently, click "Add account" in the "Settings" > "Profile" dropdown menu for quick dual-account switching.

To switch: first sign out of the current account, then click "Use another account" on the login page, and enter the other credentials. Claude does not force clear local cache, so recent conversations from the previous account remain viewable. However, it's recommended to manually delete sensitive content from the old account. If you need team collaboration, the Family or Team plan supports shared subscriptions with independent syncing for each member.

Common Issues & Quick Troubleshooting

Can't receive the verification email during registration? First check your spam folder. If it's still missing, try switching email domains (e.g., from QQ Mail to Gmail). If you see "Email already in use" during binding, that email has already been registered with Claude—simply reset the password. Multi-device sync delays are usually under 10 seconds; if it takes longer, try refreshing the webpage or restarting the app. If your account gets locked, it's often due to frequent IP changes or triggering security flags.
