Account Registration and Login

Before using Grok, you need to register an account. Visit the xAI official website or the Grok entry on X platform (formerly Twitter), and click "Sign Up" to start the registration process. Enter a valid email address and set a password. The system will send a verification email; click the link to complete verification and activate your account.

To log in, you can use your email and password or quickly log in with your X platform account. If you already have an X account, you can authorize login directly without re-registering. It is recommended to enable two-factor authentication (2FA) to improve account security and prevent unauthorized access.

Interface and Basic Operations

After logging in, you will enter the main Grok interface. The conversation list is on the left, and the input box is on the right. Click "New Chat" to start a new conversation, and enter your question or command in the input box to receive real-time responses. Grok supports multi-turn conversations, and your chat history is automatically saved for easy review.

You can switch between different versions using the model selector at the top, such as Grok-1 or the latest model. Additionally, Grok has a built-in real-time web search feature. When you ask about current events, it will automatically fetch the latest information without needing to enable it manually.

Account Binding and Multi-Account Switching Tips

If you need to use Grok on different devices, it is recommended to bind your phone number or a third-party account (e.g., Google). Go to "Settings" → "Account" to configure this. Once bound, you only need to log in again on a new device to sync your conversation history.

Want to switch accounts? Log out of your current account and then log in again. Grok currently does not support simultaneous login with multiple accounts, but you can use your browser’s incognito mode or different browsers to log in separately, enabling parallel use of multiple accounts. Note: frequent switching may trigger risk controls, so it is advisable to plan your account usage wisely.
