Anthropic today announced the launch of nine new Claude connectors, designed to embed AI capabilities into professional creative workflows. These connectors cover major tools including Blender, Autodesk, Adobe, Ableton, and Splice, allowing creative professionals to invoke Claude's generation and assistance features directly within the software they already use.
Among the partners, the Blender development team has built a dedicated connector based on the MCP protocol. By leveraging Blender's Python API, Claude can dynamically add new tools to the Blender interface, helping users automate repetitive tasks such as modeling and material handling. Anthropic also announced it has officially become a sponsor of the Blender Development Fund, supporting the ongoing development of this open-source 3D creation suite.
