According to an official announcement from X, the company is undertaking its largest system upgrade in 20 years for its advertising platform, rolling out a new AI-driven Ad Manager. The platform restructuring began in April 2026 and is being deployed in phases, aiming to provide advertisers with more efficient and precise ad delivery. X stated that this upgrade represents its “most ambitious ad platform rebuild since inception,” coinciding with the 20th anniversary of its predecessor, Twitter.
The core highlight of the new platform is the integration of cutting-edge AI search and ranking systems, which can understand user behavior in real time and dynamically adapt to content changes on X. Through deep learning and contextual semantic analysis, ad accuracy and relevance are significantly improved, helping advertisers launch high-quality campaigns faster while achieving higher return on investment (ROI).
