Social media platform X (formerly Twitter) recently announced a massive overhaul of its advertising system, introducing a new AI-powered ad manager. The upgrade arrives as X celebrates its 20th anniversary and is described by the company as “the most ambitious ad platform rebuild since its inception.” X says the new ad manager is built to help advertisers launch better campaigns faster and achieve higher return on investment (ROI).
The core of this revamp lies in integrating cutting-edge xAI models to build a brand-new AI search and ranking system for X Ads. This system can understand user behavior in real time, adapting to the dynamic content changes on the X platform, enabling more precise, relevant, and agile ad delivery. According to an official statement from X, this upgrade will significantly improve ad targeting accuracy and performance. At the same time, Google’s AI ad system “AI Max” has also officially launched and will automatically upgrade dynamic search ads and auto-generated assets, signaling growing competition in AI-powered digital advertising.
