This week, Anthropic introduced three significant updates to its Claude Managed Agents platform—first released last month—further simplifying the process of building and deploying cloud-based AI agents. The new features, named Dreaming, Outcomes, and Multiagent Orchestration, are designed to enhance agent autonomy and collaboration.
First, Dreaming expands Claude’s memory capabilities. According to Anthropic, this feature periodically reviews an agent’s historical sessions and stored memories, extracting behavioral patterns and optimizing memory so the agent can self-improve over time. Second, Outcomes allows users to clearly define criteria for “successful results,” enabling agents to meet expected goals more accurately during task execution. Finally, Multiagent Orchestration lets a “master agent” break complex tasks into subtasks and delegate them to “expert agents” with their own models, prompts, and tool sets for parallel processing—dramatically improving the efficiency of handling complex workflows.
