Anthropic announced that its enterprise-grade AI assistant Claude is now integrated with 28 security and compliance platforms, aiming to let enterprise IT teams apply unified monitoring and governance to AI conversations just like they manage other office software. This move marks a critical step forward for Claude in enterprise security control, covering mainstream security categories including data loss prevention, SASE, SIEM, identity management, eDiscovery, and AI observability.
At the heart of this update is the Claude Compliance API. The interface provides IT and security teams with programmatic access to two types of critical data: conversation content from Claude Enterprise (including chat history, uploaded files, and project files), and activity event logs from both Claude Enterprise and Claude Platform (such as user logins, admin actions, and configuration changes). Supported integrations include well-known vendors like CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks, Microsoft, Okta, Zscaler, Netskope, Cloudflare, Fortinet, and Wiz, allowing enterprises to seamlessly extend existing monitoring and compliance policies to AI usage scenarios.
