Accounting tech sees a wave of releases. AI ledger solution provider Digits today officially launched Agentic Close, an end-to-end closing system that combines 24/7 AI bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, automated scheduling, quality control, checklists, and company dashboards into a single experience. The system can collect, post, reconcile, schedule, review, and report financial activities entering the general ledger in real time. It is available immediately to all accounting firms on Digits.
Meanwhile, expense management platform Expensify released Expensify MCP (Model Context Protocol), which functions as an API interface for AI. The integration allows compatible clients such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Cursor to securely access and analyze Expensify data through natural language queries. In addition, recurring revenue and billing automation platform Ignition announced its own MCP. CEO Greg Strickland stated that building an open ecosystem will be key to success in the AI era.
