During the recent Xbox Games Showcase, Microsoft announced that the Xbox Game Pass subscription service will add 17 day-one titles, spanning release dates from the coming months into next year. This powerful lineup of new releases reinforces Game Pass's core appeal of "play on day one," offering subscribers a wealth of fresh content with no additional purchase required.
According to the official announcement, several highly anticipated games have been confirmed to join Game Pass on their launch day. These include the revival of a classic RPG franchise, Fable (expected February 23, 2027 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S), and Spyro: A Realm Beyond (spring 2027 on Xbox Series X/S, PC, PS5, and Nintendo Switch 2). Additional titles such as Persona 6 (platform and date TBD), Senua (2027), Magicians: The Devil's Deal (2027), and Vivarium (2027, Xbox and PC only) are also included. It's worth noting that some games, like Persona 4 Revival (February 18, 2026), were announced earlier—this showcase further expands the overall day-one roster.
