On the morning of June 10, Eastern Time, a large number of users reported connection issues with Google Gemini. According to data from social platforms X and Reddit, as well as outage tracker Downdetector, problems began surfacing around 6:00 AM ET. Some users were unable to access Gemini and its related services, while others remained unaffected. Complaints continued to rise through the morning, suggesting the disruption was regional or account-specific.
Several hours after the incident, Google officially acknowledged the error on its support dashboard, but did not immediately disclose the exact cause or a timeline for a fix. According to Android Authority, users were still experiencing connection issues even in updates as late as 11:50 AM ET. However, official and third-party sources later indicated that service had gradually recovered, with some users regaining full access.
