LVP, a sustainable investment firm managing $1.6 billion in assets, is investing heavily to reinvent its investment process. The core strategy: hybrid cloud AI — combining locally deployed OpenClaw with cloud-based Anthropic Claude. Ivan Wong, LVP's Head of Data and AI, says the company is "pushing AI aggressively," warning that businesses failing to deeply integrate AI within the next two to three years will face a survival crisis.
Wong points out that fully cloud-dependent AI deployments have limitations, which is why LVP chose on-premises OpenClaw. OpenClaw, an emerging AI agent platform, can execute high-security automation tasks in a local environment, while Claude handles large-scale data analysis in the cloud. This hybrid architecture frees employees to focus on higher-value work and keeps sensitive data from being fully exposed to the cloud. LVP's portfolio ranges from clean tech startups to affordable housing projects, and AI will first be applied to optimize due diligence and risk assessment processes.
