According to iTnews, investment management firm LVP is making aggressive moves in the AI space. Ivan Wong, the company's Head of Data and AI, revealed that LVP will deploy AI through a hybrid cloud architecture, leveraging the local OpenClaw platform alongside Anthropic's Claude model. Wong highlighted that LVP invests across sectors from clean-tech startups to affordable housing projects, and is now "actively embracing AI." He believes AI can free up human capital for higher-value work, warning that organizations that fail to deeply integrate AI within the next two to three years will face an existential crisis.
Wong noted that full-cloud deployment poses complexities for AI workloads, which is precisely why LVP chose OpenClaw for local deployment. The hybrid cloud strategy allows LVP to maintain local control over sensitive data while flexibly tapping into cloud-based AI capabilities like Claude, striking a balance between business needs and technology.
