Investment management firm LVP is accelerating its artificial intelligence transformation. According to iTnews, the institution—which has previously invested in clean tech startups and affordable housing projects—has selected OpenClaw’s on-premise deployment solution and Anthropic’s Claude model to build a hybrid cloud AI platform. LVP’s Head of Data and AI, Ivan Wong, said the company is “actively betting on AI,” viewing it as a key tool to free employees for higher-value work.
Wong emphasized in an interview that organizations that fail to deeply integrate AI within the next two to three years will face an existential crisis. He also pointed out that pure cloud deployment introduces complexity in AI implementation, which is a major reason LVP chose OpenClaw’s on-premise solution. “If all workloads run on the cloud, things get tricky—that’s part of why we went with OpenClaw’s local deployment,” he said. This decision reflects the firm’s practical considerations around data sovereignty, cost control, and low-latency requirements.
