Investment firm LVP is actively advancing its artificial intelligence strategy. According to Ivan Wong, the company's Head of Data and AI, LVP has chosen to deploy OpenClaw alongside Anthropic's Claude model to build a hybrid cloud AI system. Wong noted that LVP believes enterprises that fail to deeply integrate AI within the next two to three years will face an existential threat, and that a hybrid cloud architecture is key to addressing this challenge — protecting data security and compliance while flexibly leveraging cloud computing power.
Wong emphasized that pure cloud deployment is not ideal for AI workloads, especially when handling sensitive data or requiring low latency. As a result, LVP opted to run OpenClaw on-premises, enabling local inference combined with cloud-based training. This allows employees to shift from repetitive tasks to higher-value work. The strategy also reflects major investment firms' growing focus on data sovereignty and cost control when rolling out AI.
