This tutorial only covers the registration and login process on Claude’s web version, and clearly explains “how to switch accounts” and “how to avoid repeated verification” in one go. Follow the steps and you can usually create a Claude account and use it steadily within a few minutes.
Before entering the Claude sign-up page, prepare two things
Open your browser and visit Claude’s official site (usually claude.ai). Confirm the domain in the address bar is correct before continuing. Prepare an email address that can receive messages normally, and make sure verification-code emails won’t be automatically sorted into “Spam/Promotions”.
If you often use multiple Claude accounts on the same computer, it’s recommended to separate logins in advance using “browser profiles/separate users”. This keeps Claude’s cookies and sessions from mixing, making account switching much easier later.
Claude registration and login: the correct way to use email verification codes
A common method for Claude is “enter email → receive a one-time verification code → return to the page to complete login”. The code is usually time-limited, so it’s best to paste it immediately after receiving it to avoid it expiring due to switching back and forth between apps.
If Claude says the verification code is invalid, first check whether you entered a code from an older email, then click resend once. If it still doesn’t work, refresh the page and go through the login process again—don’t keep submitting repeatedly on the same page.
