This tutorial only covers the basics of getting started with Claude: how to register, complete email verification, manage logged-in devices, and what to do if you don’t receive the verification email. Follow the steps, and you’ll be able to log in to Claude reliably and switch between your commonly used devices.
1. Register a Claude account on the web
Open the official Claude site (claude.ai). Click Log in/Sign up, then choose email registration or sign in with a third-party account. If you register with email, it’s recommended to use an email address you use regularly—future verification and account recovery will be much easier.
After entering your email and password and submitting, Claude will guide you through the remaining verification steps. If the page indicates additional verification is required (such as a code or extra checks), follow the prompts. Avoid refreshing repeatedly to prevent triggering risk controls.
2. Complete Claude email verification and “link” your account
After registering, check your inbox for the verification email and open the verification link to confirm. This step effectively links your Claude account to your email address. Once verification is complete, return to the Claude page and refresh once—usually you’ll be taken directly into the chat interface.
If you’re using a work or school email, it’s recommended to also check folders like Spam/Junk, Quarantine, or Security Review. Some inboxes may delay delivery; waiting 1–3 minutes before trying again is often more reliable.
