Social media platform X recently announced the global launch of new features powered by Grok AI, including auto-translation and natural language photo editing. The company stated that these updates aim to improve the in-app user experience, allowing content to cross language barriers and enabling easy image modifications through simple descriptions, making platform interactions more intelligent.
Specifically, the auto-translation feature is now live worldwide, offering instant translation of post content to help users overcome language limits. Meanwhile, the new photo editor is being introduced first in iOS apps, allowing users to instruct Grok to edit images via natural language prompts (such as "enhance colors" or "remove background"). However, the company previously restricted AI image generation to paying users only, so it remains unclear if the new AI photo editing is limited to paid subscribers. This trend aligns with AI editing features from companies like Google and Adobe.
