Google today officially established “Gemini Intelligence” as the umbrella brand for AI features on premium Android devices, launching first on Pixel 10 and Galaxy S26. The suite introduces generative UI widgets and Gboard’s “Rambler” capability, designed to enhance task automation using on-screen and image context. Google says automation becomes “far more powerful” when the system understands what the user is currently seeing — simply long-press the power button to bring up a list, and instruct Gemini to add all items on screen to your cart and complete the checkout; or, while in a hotel lobby, snap a photo of a travel brochure and say “Find a similar day trip for a group of six on Expedia,” and Gemini will automatically search and match itineraries.
Beyond visual interaction upgrades, Gemini Intelligence brings smarter autofill, now integrated into Android apps and Chrome browser. The system leverages Gemini’s Personal Intelligence to pre-fill form data, reducing manual input. Separately, Google previewed a new notebook category called “Googlebooks,” combining the strengths of Android and ChromeOS, expected to arrive this fall with Gemini Intelligence onboard.
