Social media platform X (formerly Twitter) has officially launched a new advertising product called Creator Connect, designed to use artificial intelligence to precisely connect brands with creators and further capture a larger share of the creator economy. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the product is now on the market, using AI algorithms to analyze creators' content style, audience profiles, and brand needs to automatically recommend the best collaboration combinations. Mitchell Smith, X's Global Head of Content Partnerships, stated: "2025 is the first year of our creator era, and we are focused on building a platform that fosters a healthy creator ecosystem. The large volume of organic interactions gives us the credibility to launch commercial products."
This product launch is a major strategic move by X under Elon Musk's control via SpaceX. The core logic of Creator Connect is to help creators gain more brand collaboration opportunities and increase their income, while enabling brands to advertise more efficiently, ultimately driving the platform's ad revenue growth. X aims to compete for more creators and ad budgets from platforms like YouTube and TikTok. Previously, X had introduced features such as creator subscriptions and tipping, and Creator Connect now fills the key missing piece in brand-creator monetization.
