Elon Musk’s social media platform X has officially launched a new advertising product called Creator Connect, using AI technology to connect brands with creators and further tap into the creator economy. The tool leverages an xAI-powered algorithm that matches brands with the right creators based on audience characteristics, real-time trends, and campaign goals, improving ad efficiency.
Unlike earlier strategies that focused only on top-tier influencers, Creator Connect is designed to help mid-tier and smaller creators secure brand partnerships, rather than just the top 1% of users. By lowering the barrier to collaboration, X hopes to encourage more creators to produce content on the platform while offering brands a wider range of ad options. The tool is now in its market rollout phase and is expected to significantly increase X’s revenue share from advertising.
