KPMG, a global professional services firm, recently announced a strategic alliance with AI company Anthropic to deploy Claude AI across its workforce of over 276,000 employees across 138 countries. This represents one of the largest large-model integrations in the professional services industry to date.
Under the partnership, KPMG will embed Claude into its core business platform, Digital Gateway, which is used for tax, legal, and other professional services delivery—accessible to both employees and clients. Every KPMG employee will gain access to Claude. The firms have also integrated Claude Cowork and Managed Agents into the platform, enabling professionals to build AI capabilities directly within the system. Additionally, KPMG has been named Anthropic’s preferred consulting partner in the private equity space, co-developing Claude-based products for portfolio companies and using Claude to identify and fix security vulnerabilities in critical systems. This deployment builds on KPMG US’s internal experience over the past two years, including work from its AI and Data Lab, and adheres to KPMG’s Trusted AI Framework, emphasizing security, trust, and governance.
