If you're new to OPenClaw, the registration process and account management might feel unfamiliar. This guide walks you through every step—from creating an account and binding your email to switching between devices—so you can start using this AI voice tool right away.

Step 1: Register Your OPenClaw Account

Go to the OPenClaw website and click the "Sign Up" button in the top right corner. You can register using an email address or sign in directly with your Google account. Using an email is recommended for easier password recovery later.

After entering your email, you'll receive a verification message. Click the link inside to confirm your email, then set a password of at least 8 characters. For better security, include both uppercase and lowercase letters along with numbers.

Step 2: Link Your Phone Number and Payment Method

Once registered, go to your personal settings page and find the "Account Security" section to add your phone number. This step is mainly for two-factor authentication, helping to protect your account from unauthorized access.

If you plan to use paid features, head to "Subscription Management" to add a credit card or PayPal account. OPenClaw offers a flexible pay-as-you-go model, so you can adjust your plan anytime without worrying about long-term contracts.

Step 3: Switch Between Devices and Collaborate with Your Team

OPenClaw allows you to log in on both your computer and the mobile app at the same time. Download the official app on your phone, then scan the QR code or enter the verification code from your account to sync your data.

To switch accounts, tap your profile picture, select "Log Out," and enter the credentials for another account. For team collaboration, it's best for each member to use a separate sub-account to avoid API call conflicts.

Common Binding Issues and Solutions

If you can't verify your email, check your spam folder first. When the SMS verification code doesn't arrive, try switching to a different network or contact support to refresh the channel.

If you see "Region Not Supported" during payment setup, make sure your account's registered region matches the card's issuing region. OPenClaw has restrictions in some countries or regions; using a virtual credit card can be a temporary workaround.
