Toronto, Ontario – CallCow, an AI phone answering and smart front desk platform for small businesses, has published a developer guide and launched a skill built on the OpenClaw community. This skill enables AI voice agents to make real phone calls using just one natural language prompt. Called "agent-call," it is now publicly available, and developers can start using it immediately at docs.callcow.ai/agent-calling.
Traditionally, adding phone capabilities to AI agents required complex telecom infrastructure. CallCow's new approach simplifies the entire process. Its Prompt-to-Call API automatically generates a call workflow from a user's natural language description, executes the call using a GPT 5.4-powered natural speech engine, and returns call recordings, transcripts, summaries, and any structured data collected to a specified callback URL. This means any AI voice agent can place and receive real phone calls without setting up a telecom system.
