As AI-powered search becomes more widespread, the traditional habit of "vanity searching" your own name on Google is gradually moving to AI systems. A new tool called "In the Weights" has just launched, designed to measure how deeply a person or brand is embedded in the internal parameters of large language models (LLMs)—their "weight memory." According to TechCrunch, this service is not a simple web search; instead, it evaluates your AI visibility by simultaneously querying dozens of leading models.
The platform works by sending the query "Who is this person?" to popular models including Grok, Gemini, multiple versions of GPT, Claude, and Llama. It then collects and analyzes the responses, groups similar descriptions, and generates a quantified "strength score." For example, actor Macaulay Culkin and singer Luciano Pavarotti currently hold the highest scores. This marks a shift in digital influence measurement from traditional search engine SEO to "weight optimization" within AI models.
