Neuroimmunology Frontier: BioMed X Launches Global Call for Research Proposals

New Haven, CT, June 23, 2026 – Biomedical innovation engine BioMed X today announced a global call for research proposals focused on the emerging field of neural circuit regulation of immune function. Supported by Biogen, the initiative seeks bold, innovative ideas to uncover the mechanisms by which the nervous system influences immune responses, paving the way for new treatments in autoimmune diseases.

Titled “Neural Circuit Regulation of Immune Function,” this open call is open to research teams worldwide and targets the intersection of neuroscience and immunology.
