Social media platform X (formerly Twitter) is accelerating its shift toward video content with the official launch of Live Studio, a streaming command center, and a $1 million creator incentive program aimed at encouraging more live broadcasts. X’s product lead, Nikita Bier, demonstrated the tool’s interface on the platform and stated that the company will "distribute $1 million to creators using the live streaming feature" in the next payment cycle.
Located within X’s Creator Studio, Live Studio is designed for Premium subscribers. Through this hub, creators can schedule live streams in advance, set titles and cover thumbnails, and fine-tune audience controls — restricting streams to verified accounts, accounts the creator follows, or subscribers, or making them public to the entire platform. During a live broadcast, creators can also monitor concurrent viewers, audience geography, and device types in real time, along with managing chat settings. X’s official site now includes a Live Studio user guide and FAQ section.
