Google announced on Monday that its personalized AI image generation feature within the Gemini app is now available for free to all eligible users in the United States. Previously exclusive to Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers, all US users can now experience this feature at no cost without any subscription fees. The tool, powered by Google's Nano Banana technology, generates images tailored to individual interests and tastes, helping users produce visuals that better reflect their personal style.
Starting in March, Google began gradually rolling out Gemini's "personalized AI" capabilities to US users, and in April, it first announced the addition of Nano Banana-powered image generation. This free expansion means more users can now generate custom visual content simply by describing their preferences in natural language. Last month, Google also previewed several upcoming updates for the Gemini app, including a new "Daily Brief" feature, a redesigned interface, integration with the AI video model Gemini Omni, and a personal AI assistant called Gemini Spark.
